Moriah College New Early Learning Centre

P+I was engaged by Moriah College as development and project manager for the new Early Learning Centre at Moriah’s Queens Park campus.  With an existing off-campus ELC scheduled to close, Moriah College was under time pressure to find a new location for the ELC.

P+I successfully solved the College’s problem by:

  • Examining on-campus and off-campus options, from demand, planning and financial  perspectives;
  • Determining that an on-campus option provided the best outcome;
  • Setting a project budget;
  • Working with the architect to develop a design that met the College’s requirements, within budget;
  • Negotiating a complex planning environment;
  • Running a tender process to appoint civil, landscape and construction contractors;
  • Negotiating a fixed-price, fixed-time construction contract; and
  • Project managed delivery of the ELC build.

        The new ELC became operational November 2018.
